The currency code for the Fiji dollar is FJD. You may see this represented as FJ$ or F$ on Fiji websites. Notes are available in denominations of $2, $5, $10, $20, and $50. Coins used are 1c and 2c (Copper Plated Zinc - copper colour), plus 5c, 10c, 20c and 50c (nickel bonded steel - silver colour) and $1 (brass - gold colour).

There is no limit to the amount of money brought in to Fiji. Visitors are allowed to take out currency up to the amount imported. However, please always check the regulations before travelling to Fiji in case regulations have recently changed.
